I love this Ode to this unruly zero-sensor, zero-borders American English which does embarrass its King's English better. I lived in England some years, so I now live with those two languages as well.

By far my favorite English, though, is the one that, apparently ignorant of other variations, simply bubbles up and wants to be taken down verbatim "as bubbled"... 😎
