Disentanglement — 7
The Bible of Letting Go
Molecule by
non-existent
molecule
then, from this thought-free shore
now disentangle
from beauty, your private
notion of what pleases you
She is a fair maiden, Beauty is
modest mostly, shy always
though often fooled by sex
to fool you too
Still, she would be harmless
would you not so readily agree:
she is beautiful this Beauty
whoever says otherwise has
absolutely no taste, no aesthetic
sensibilities at all — morons
savages, beasts, uglinesses
It is a hunger, nonetheless
this first dressing the view
in beauty, then stepping back
forgetting you the dresser
forgetting the wardrobe and
trying on frocks and hairstyles
to see — ah, oh, so beautiful
so very, very, very beautiful
be still my heart
