The Bible of Letting Go
Molecule by
non-existent
molecule
then, from this longing-free shore
now disentangle
from intentions, those little
willings that more often
than not dart astray
and leave you wondering:
what the hell
But it’s these little wishings
that create all the problems
including, for one, time
and for two, hopes
and for three, disappointments
and for four, successes
and for five, yes, identity
I wish, therefore: I am, hopes
Descartes and his daughter
both
Do you realize that when granted
three wishes by the genie, it’s
not the wisher’s intentions
that work (bring result)
but the genie’s?
The genie hears these wishes
whether spoken or not
then intends for them to
come about —
that’s intention for you
still, even intention of that
strength and caliber
is best
let go
Disentangling this
Gordian knot is near
impossible but even so
it is the eleventh object
of disegoment —
sever all tendrils
let go all filaments
shed microscopic clingings
sail clear of these sirens
out and upon blue waters
into clean air strong winds
for distant intention-free shores
